Yes, I’m talking to you. In case you didn’t know it, this book was written for you.
That’s right, YOU!
Sure, someone else could easily come along and read this, too. But don’t fool yourself. My words are undeniably directed to you.
Why?
Because I knew that sooner or later you’d be drawn to this book.
You’ve been searching for answers and striving to improve your life for years now. And you’ve made some great progress, even though you’ve run into some obstacles along the way.
Like that creative dream project that fell through. Or the degree or certification you haven’t had time to earn yet. Or the fact that you still can’t make toast without burning it.
These things and more have created feelings of frustration and doubt within you. Right?
Sometimes you lack direction. Other times you worry because you don’t have easy answers to the really important questions, such as, “What is the meaning of life?” or “Where can I find a decent pastrami sandwich in this town?”
My first piece of advice to you: Don’t worry so much. There’s nothing wrong with you.
One of the reasons I created this book was to let you know that you’re just fine — a little disoriented at times, a little sensitive and defensive on occasion, and I question your judgment concerning the last pair of shoes you bought.
But overall, you’re doing great.
So don’t beat yourself up. It’s not the end of the world just because you encounter obstacles, feelings of frustration, and colors that clash.
